On February 6th, 2011 the Pittsburgh Steelers (AFC) will go against the Green Bay Packers (NFL) in Super Bowl 45 for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears 21-14 in the NFC Championship Game, Sunday January 23, 2011 and the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New York Jets 24-19 in the AFC Championship Game the same day. Aaron Rodgers, playing in his first Super Bowl goes up against Ben Roethlisberger, who has two Super Bowl Rings already. These two quarterbacks are definitely two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL this season. It should be a very exciting Super Bowl 45!

Conference Championship Predictions!
Tomorrow January 23, 2011 the New York Jets will travel to Pittsburgh to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. The last time these two teams faced off it was a Jets victory in Pittsburgh, however the Steelers did not have one of their best defenders on the field, Troy Polamalu. The final score was 22-17. This time I think it will be a much closer game, but the Jets win and advance to the Super Bowl, 21-18.
Before the Jets and Steelers face off, the Green Bay Packers will take on the Chicago Bears in Chicago for a high rival NFC Championship Game. The last time these two teams went against each other, the Chicago Bears already locked their number 2 seed and were not moving up or down, on the other hand the Green Bay Packers were playing for a playoff spot. The Bears had the chance to put the Packers out of the playoffs, however the Packers won 10-3, and now the Bears face the Packers in the NFC Championship Game. I believe the Packers win it again, 14-11.

The Fly Jets!
Before the New York Jets faced off against the New England Patriots in Foxborough there was so much trash talk split between both teams leading up to the game. On the field, both teams had to back it up, the Patriots couldn't and the Jets sure did! Going against the number one seed in the entire NFL, the New England Patriots, the New York Jets came in to this game, looking confident, smart, tough, and ready to win. After an interception thrown by Tom Brady, his first in 11 games, the Jets did not get the chance to score, but had so much confidence after that. Mark Sanchez had an amazing game, throwing 3 touchdowns. Also the Jets running game played a big role in this game with running back, Sean Greene rushing for 76 yards and 1 rushing touchdown. LaDainian Tomlinson rushing for 43 yards and 1 receiving touchdown. The New York Jets beat the New England Patriots 28-21. New York will now go to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers in the AFC Championship.
When The Bears Roar!
The Chicago Bears have been and are playing outstanding football this post and regular season! After the Seattle Seahawks pulled the upset off, beating the defending Super Bowl Champions, the New Orleans Saints. They went down to Chicago to face the Chicago Bears. There, the Chicago Bears did not give the Seahawks a chance to do anything against them. With Jay Cutler throwing for 2 touchdowns and rushing for 2 more touchdowns, becoming the second quarterback to ever do that in a post season game, along with hall of fame great, Otto Graham. The Chicago Bears beat the Seattle Seahawks, Chicago-35, Seattle-24. The Bears will now host long time rivals, the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship next weekend.
They Are STEEL Strong!
This weekend, Saturday January 15th, 2011 the Pittsburgh Steelers went head on with their great rival, Baltimore Ravens. In the first half the Baltimore Ravens jumped out on top looking great and scored a total of 21 points and holding Pittsburgh to 7. However after halftime the Pittsburgh Steelers just came out of the locker room with nothing but winning on their minds, and they did just that. Scoring 24 points, and the Steelers defense held Joe Flacco and the Baltimore offense to only 3. The final score was Pittsburgh 31, Baltimore 24. The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the New York Jets in the AFC Championship next weekend.
Just To Easy!
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers went to Atlanta this weekend on January 15th, 2011 to face the number one seed in the NFC, Atlanta Falcons. Green Bay just looked unstoppable out there on both sides of the ball, offense and defense. Aaron Rodgers was just on fire throughout the entire game, completing 31 out of 36 passes, threw for 3 touchdowns, and 366 yards. The Packers blew out the Atlanta Falcons with the final score being 48 to 21. Green Bay will now go to Chicago to face long time rival, the Chicago Bears in the NFC Championship!

NFL DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS!!!
The first game on tomorrow January 15th, 2011 at 4:30PM ET on CBS the Baltimore Ravens go to Pittsburgh to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in a huge AFC rivalry game. This will be a hard hitting, smash mouth football game. My prediction is a low scoring game Baltimore Ravens-13 Pittsburgh Steelers-10.
Next game on Saturday at 8:00 PM ET on FOX the Green Bay Packers travel to Atlanta to face the Atlanta Falcons. Earlier this season the two teams faced off in Atlanta and it already had playoff atmosphere! The Falcons won that game 20-17 with a late field goal by Matt Bryant. Two of the leagues young top quarterbacks, Aaron Rodgers leading the Packers and Matt Ryan leads the Falcons. I say the Atlanta Falcons win this in another close game, 24-21.
On Sunday at 1:00 PM ET on FOX the Seattle Seahawks travel to Chicago to face the Chicago Bears. The Seattle Seahawks coming off a thrilling upset against the defending Super Bowl Champions, New Orleans Saints. The Chicago Bears had a great season and playing their first playoff game on Sunday coming off a bye week. I have the Chicago Bears winning 24-17.
Last game being played this playoff weekend on Sunday at 4:30 ET on CBS the New York Jets go to Foxborough to take on the red hot New England Patriots. This entire week there has been minor conflict between the two teams leading up to the game. This will be another great rivalry game and I say the New York Jets pull off the win 35-28.

Tiger Pride All Around!
They did it! Cam Newton and the Auburn Tigers win the BCS Championship Game in Glendale, Arizona against the Oregon Ducks. With 2:33 remaining in the game Oregon Duck Darron Thomas throws a 2-yard touchdown to LaMichael James and than converts the 2-point conversion to Jeff Maehl tying the game at 19. But with around 2:30 seconds left Cameron Newton of the Auburn Tigers drives down the field with a little help by Michael Dyer with a 37-yard rush putting them on the Oregon 23. 3 plays later Michael Dyer again rushes for a 16-yard rush putting them on the Oregon 1 setting up Wes Byrum for a game winning 19-yard field goal as time expired. The final score was #1 Auburn Tigers-22 #2 Oregon Ducks-19. The Auburn Tigers finish with a perfect 14-0 season and the Oregon Ducks finish with a 12-1 season. Congratulations to the Auburn Tigers for their big win tonight.

BCS PREDICTION!!!
Tomorrow, January 10th, 2011 is the big game in College Football, and that's the BCS Championship Game!
The #1 Auburn Tiger face up against the #2 Oregon Ducks. I will make my prediction one moment after we go over the two teams comparisons. The Oregon Ducks are the number one scoring team in the FBS this season while the Auburn Tigers are fourth. The Oregon Ducks are 6th in the Pac-10 in passing, and the Auburn Tigers are 7th in the SEC in passing. Both teams are 1st in rushing in their conference. Now with all that said, I just know that this is going to be a very exciting game as anticipated, and I have the Auburn Tigers winning 22-19!

Eagles PACK Up Early!
A few weeks before the playoffs the Philadelphia Eagles seemed to have had probably the most explosive offenses in the entire NFL. On the other hand the Green Bay Packers were finding a way to make it into the playoffs. The two teams would meet today January 9th, 2011 in Philadelphia in a NFC Wild Card showdown. The Packers came out playing physical running football against the Eagle defense and it seemed to be working all game. Leading 21-10 going into the 4th quarter the Philadelphia Eagles were looking to get things moving and get them moving fast. Driving up the field the Eagles looked like the expected Eagles everyone was used to, with Michael Vick running it for a 1-yard touchdown making it 21-16 Green Bay. The Eagles decided to go for two to make it a 3 point game but failed with about 4:00 left in regulation. The Eagles defense stepped up forcing the Packers to punt leaving about 1:45 left. Driving down the field again the Eagles looked unstoppable, but on 1st and 10 on the Packers 27, Michael Vick throws up a lob into the end zone intended for Riley Cooper but than intercepted by Tramon Williams of the Green Bay Packers leading the Aaron Rodgers to kneel it and end in the game with the final score Green Bay 21, Philadelphia 16.
A Raven Shutdown!
Earlier today January 9th, 2011 the Baltimore Ravens went into Kansas City and man handled the Chiefs.
Once again the Ravens defense shuts down the Chiefs, and their offense holding them to only 7 points in the entire game. They also forced Matt Cassel to throw 3 interceptions and forced Jamaal Charles and Dexter McCluster to cough up fumbles. As a team Kansas City had 5 turnovers and forced only 2. The Baltimore Ravens will now go face the long time rival Pittsburgh Steelers next weekend in Pittsburgh.

The Kick Is Up, The Kick Is.... Good!
With three seconds left in regulation, the New York Jets field goal kicker, Nick Folk, had a ton of pressure on him walking up to attempt a 32-yard field goal to win the game against the Indianapolis Colts. As the Indy crowd was roaring the roof off the stadium, the ball was snapped. Nick Folk kicked the football up, and GOOD! Silencing the Colts and the Colts fans and started a Jets celebration on the field. The New York Jets beat Peyton Manning and the Colts, with the final score Jets-17, Colts-16! The Jets will now fly to Foxborough to face the New England Patriots next weekend.
A Shocking Upset In Seattle!
What a way to kickoff the 2011 NFL Playoffs in Seattle! A highly underdog Seahawks team, who came into the wild card playoffs with the worst record a team has ever had in the playoffs, having to face the high favored defending champions New Orleans Saints! With the Saints trailing late in the fourth quarter by 5, all the defense needed to do was stop the Seattle Seahawks in order to give Drew Brees another chance for a comeback game winning drive. However, with about 3:38 left in the fourth quarter on 2nd and 10 on Seattle's 33, the Seahawks intentions were to just hand the ball off and try running down the clock. Matt Hasselback snapped the ball handing it off to Marshawn Lynch, and with the Saints defense rushing to bring Lynch down, Lynch broke half a dozen tackles and ran a 67-yard touchdown to put the nail in the coffin. The defending champions New Orleans Saints are no longer in the running for a 2 peat. What a crazy upset finish!
